📌 The SP90Y pipelayer is a 90-ton professional pipe lifting construction machine with an operating weight of 55t. Powered by the reliable Cummins NTA855-C360S10 engine with a rated power of 257kW, this heavy-duty pipelayer is specially designed for pipeline laying, heavy pipe hoisting and engineering installation projects. Integrating stability, safety, flexibility and easy maintenance, the SP90Y pipelayer has become ideal equipment for oil, gas and water pipeline construction worldwide.
The SP90Y pipelayer adopts rigid connection between the track frame and the main body frame. Equipped with extended and widened crawler tracks and freely adjustable counterweight, the whole machine achieves ultra-high chassis stability. It effectively prevents tilting and shaking during heavy pipe hoisting, side lifting and cross-slope operation, adapting to muddy, uneven and complex outdoor construction terrain.
All speed change, steering and throttle controls are centrally arranged on the left side of the driver’s cabin for flexible and convenient operation. The working device adopts pressure-reducing pilot valve control, which is labor-saving, sensitive and precise with excellent fine-tuning performance. Reasonable joystick layout avoids misoperation, greatly reduces long-term working fatigue and improves operator comfort.
To guarantee construction safety, the SP90Y pipelayer is equipped with boom limit mechanism, hook overwinding protection device and free hook drop function. Multiple physical safety configurations effectively avoid equipment failure and construction risks during pipe lifting, laying and installation, ensuring stable and safe operation in high-intensity pipeline projects.
The machine supports flexible speed control for hook lifting/lowering and boom luffing actions. All operating actions respond quickly and smoothly, greatly shortening single pipe hoisting and installation cycle time. It perfectly meets large-scale, high-frequency pipeline laying construction demands and significantly improves overall project efficiency.
Equipped with an intelligent chassis electronic monitor, the machine realizes centralized real-time monitoring and automatic fault alarm to eliminate hidden dangers in advance. Optional moment limiter can accurately display boom angle, working radius, lifting height and lifting weight. It will trigger alarms and restrict overloaded movements to realize intelligent safety protection.
The boom and counterweight structure adopts quick disassembly design. All removable parts are easy to disassemble and assemble on the construction site without professional large equipment. It greatly reduces transportation difficulty and logistics cost, and realizes rapid transition and put-into-service in different construction sites.
Supported by genuine Cummins NTA855-C360S10 diesel engine with 257kW rated power, the SP90Y pipelayer features strong power reserve, low fuel consumption and stable output. The engine has excellent durability and adaptability to harsh environments, supporting long-time continuous heavy-load operation and lowering overall equipment failure rate.
We independently manufacture core components including transmissions, torque converters and structural parts. The self-developed transmission perfectly matches the engine power curve. The heavy-duty pinned frame structure can withstand high impact shock loads and twisting forces. Lengthened semi-axis and gear hub further widen track center distance, making the whole machine more durable and stable during long-term heavy construction.
